$30 trick versus $1088
I met my friend Irene recently, she told me that year ago she was looking for a good deal in internet. Someone published a advertisement on how to make money in internet as long but must paid $30 first. She innocently send $30 to the fellow, in return, the guy told her to do the same thing. Cannot believe this kind of trick still work. I guess we always hopet that a small investment, no big risk involved, might churn out something good. This is similar when I 'throw in'$1088 for a 'master' to come to my place to 'suck' the dragon well water from neighbouring temple..at the end, i didn't get anything big too. In addition, we paid around another $1000 for the luck pendant. This world is full of con men.
Coin counterfeiting
Year ago, I read someone who tried to bring in counterfeit $1 coin into Singapore but he was caught. I had the same idea but didn't take actions. This is a great idea but the craftmanship must be good. The reason why this fellow fails is because he used lousy mould and material and one look at the fake coins, it can be spotted easily. To perfect this illegal trade, one must find a high skill mould maker plus use a similar material. For all we know, coin counterfeit is much easier than notes as there are no tell tale signs. Also, the value involved is too small, authority might not take a good look at it. To check whether the coin can pass the test, just put any fake coin into any coin deposit machine and if it is rejected, it fails the test.

Underground Betting : Lottery, 4D, Toto, etc
I was amazed when my godbrother shared with me how 'bookies' profit from underground bettings. Bookies - Masterminds who ran illegal bettings. It shows me the power of networking...
First of all, bookies never lost money if they have established a good network with other bookies and also if they have alot of betters. This is how it runs
1) We recognize that the chances of winning top prizes are slimmer than losing
2) Each bookie will take in betting according to their paid out capital.
3) Based on Singaporepool system, for every $1, the paid out is $3,000 for betting small & $2,000 for betting big if the number came out first prize ( www.singaporepools.com.sg).
4) Based on Underground system, for every $1.60, the paid out is $6,000 for betting small and $4,000 for betting small if the number came out first prize. ( Sth like this). However, they need to pay 5% commission to the runner as coffee money.
5) Imagine a bookie with a $500,000 capital. He will take in all volumes of bets till it reach it limit. Once certain number hits his capital, he will re-direct the bets to his bookies network and hence not risking losing the game.
6) I think the formula should be
Capital = X( $3,000) + Y($6,000)
where X is the no. of $1.60 bet on Big
Y is the no. of $1.60 bet on Small
7) Example, for the above capital, each set of number (e.g 1234) can only take in $500,000 / $6,000 = 83 sets @$1.60 small
Or
66 set of X and 41sets of Y
8) Once a bookie has received its maximum bet, it will pass the additional bet to his/her of bookies. Therefore, they will never lose out in this calculated risk game.
